Short-Term Disability Program Changes Effective January 1, 2026

We have great news about an important enhancement to your Short-Term Disability benefits! We're pleased to announce that we're extending Short-Term Disability coverage from 90 to 180 days, which doubles your coverage period at no extra cost to you. In order to receive this benefit, you must have an approved disability leave for yourself under FMLA or ADA.

This improvement means you'll have Short-Term Disability protection for a full six months instead of three, providing you with extended income protection when you need it most. Additionally, you'll continue to have the option to buy up your coverage for enhanced benefits during this 180-day period. This expansion reflects our ongoing commitment to supporting your financial wellness and providing you with robust protection during challenging times.
