1. Annual Merit Award Requirements
Employees who did not complete Annual Education and TB requirements before the Merit impact deadline may complete these requirements during the makeup period by January 31, 2026, to receive Merit. If completed by the deadline, the effective date of Merit would be January 25, 2026, and show in the paycheck on February 13, 2026.

2. Important Updates
- As a result of the One Big Beautiful Bill passed in 2025, employees will not be taxed on overtime earnings for 2025.
- W-2s will be mailed on or before January 31, 2025.
- 1095s will be available electronically on myNorthsideHR > Tools & Resources > myNorthsideBenefits > Benefits > 1095-C Tax Information after January 31, 2026.

3. IRS Secure 2.0 Retirement Changes
All employees can contribute up to $24,500 to their 403(b) Savings Plan in 2026. All employees 50 or older in 2026 can contribute up to $8,000 in catch-up contributions, for total savings of up to $32,500. All employees turning ages 60–63 in 2026 can make additional “super catch-up contributions” of up to $3,250, for total catch-up contributions of $11,250, for total savings of up to $35,750. 4. Update Personal Information
To ensure you receive any applicable service awards and other important benefits information, take a moment to update your information on Self-Service.
