System Rebadging Project Updates

We are excited to share the launch of our system-wide employee rebadging project, designed to streamline security, parking access, and employee identification across Northside. The new badges will no longer display employee last names and will feature all-in-one security, parking and photo ID functionality.

Badge replacement is mandatory for all employees who started on or before April 13, 2025, or whose last name still appears on the front of their badge. Employees hired after this date already received the updated format during their onboarding process.

New Badge Distribution Process

HR is implementing a phased delivery approach to each campus by delivering select unit or department badges to Directors throughout 2026. Directors will receive an email notification regarding their upcoming badge delivery the week before the scheduled date. HR representatives will deliver the new badges along with an employee tracking list to the Directors scheduled to receive badges.

Each unit or department will have two weeks to distribute new badges and collect old badges. Supervisors are encouraged to support distributing badges to their teams.

After the two-week window ends, an HR representative will collect old badges and any undistributed new badges from Directors.

Other Important Details

After the assigned two-week pick-up window, employees who haven't received their new badge must pick it up from the HR office at their campus.

If employees are not scheduled during the two-week pick-up period, they are not required to come on campus to get their new badge. They will be directed to pick up their badge at the HR office the next time they are on campus.

Directors will receive badges for their departments and will return old badges on Fridays. Please communicate with your Director on how you can assist with distribution.
